A ceiling-mounted, ducted exhaust fan / inline mixflow fan unit rated to push through 150 mm duct with a timer / run-on control (i.e., designed for duct/static pressure, not just “free air” mounting) and running straight into the exterior roof cowl.
Aiming for a fan that gives good, comfortable air change without being loud rather than “Hot air extraction” performance. A long humidity-control strategy is not necessary.
Use smooth ducts and proper bends where necessary (long-radius where possible) and keep the outlet duct run as straight as possible straight into the external roof cowl. Likely outlet duct run is less than 5 metres max.
Must be able to deliver ~75 L/s (minimum) up to ~100 L/s for a 12m² bedroom with ceiling height 245cm without excessive noise.
Avoid small/overly restrictive grilles
Roof cavity is accessible, but not straight forward.
